Payment Terms
How subscription billing, taxes, and payment processing work on Tenanting.
These Payment Terms ("Terms") govern subscription billing and payment processing for the Tenanting platform ("the Platform"), operated by Tenanting Technologies Pvt Ltd.
These Terms should be read together with our Terms of Service and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Scope
These Terms apply to all paid subscription plans purchased by property owners, self-residing owners, and NRI owners on the Platform. They do not apply to free-tier usage, which is governed solely by the Terms of Service.
Plans & Pricing
Tenanting offers subscription plans billed either monthly or annually. Current pricing (e.g. ₹99/month billed annually, or ₹149/month billed monthly) is displayed on the pricing page and at checkout before payment is collected. All displayed prices are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Billing Cycle
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected billing period (monthly or annual). The billing date is set to the date of initial purchase and recurs on the same date each cycle, unless that date does not exist in a given month (e.g. the 31st), in which case the nearest valid date is used.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed through PayU, a licensed third-party payment gateway. Tenanting does not store your full card, UPI, or net-banking credentials on its own servers — this data is handled directly by PayU in accordance with RBI and PCI-DSS requirements.
Accepted payment modes include UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking, subject to what PayU supports at the time of payment.
Taxes
Subscription fees are subject to 18% GST as applicable under Indian tax law. GST is calculated and displayed at checkout and included in the final amount charged. A GST-compliant invoice is issued for every successful payment (see Section 8).
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle using the payment method on file, unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can review your next renewal date anytime from your account billing settings.
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for how cancellation affects your current billing period.
Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails (e.g. insufficient funds, expired card, bank decline), Tenanting will attempt to notify you and may retry the charge. Access to paid features may be restricted or reverted to the free tier if payment is not successfully completed within a reasonable grace period.
No account will be permanently suspended for a payment failure without prior notice to the registered email or WhatsApp number on file.
Invoices
A GST invoice is generated for every successful payment and made available in your account under Billing. Invoices reflect the legal entity operating the Platform — Tenanting Technologies Pvt Ltd — and include GSTIN, amount, tax breakup, and payment reference.
Price Changes
Tenanting may revise subscription pricing from time to time. Price changes will not affect a billing cycle you have already paid for; any change will apply from your next renewal onward, and you will be notified in advance of a price increase taking effect on your subscription.
Currency & Payments from Outside India
All subscription fees are billed in Indian Rupees (INR). NRI owners paying via an international card or account will have the applicable conversion and any foreign transaction charges applied by their card issuer or bank — these are outside Tenanting's or PayU's control.
Payment Disputes
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged, contact us at the email below within 30 days of the charge. Chargebacks initiated directly with your bank without first contacting Tenanting may delay resolution and could result in temporary suspension of Platform access pending investigation.
